2021 Poster InstructionsThe virtual poster format consists of two parts: Part 1a. Online Review. Your virtual poster file must be a PDF. We suggest setting the dimensions of your poster to 43.6" (110.7 cm) width x 24.5" (62.2 cm) height in landscape orientation at 72 DPI for easy display on a computer screen. You may also choose to create a series of slides, a larger graphic, or a series of tables and charts. Part 1b. ePoster Video. The ePoster video presentations should be 2-3 minutes in length. The video file must be .mp4 and no larger than 512000KB (or 500MB). Presentations should be either a shoulders up view of the person presenting or a video recording with your camera blocked out (to create a back screen with audio only). This short video should be detailed enough that the audience gets a good idea of what your poster is about, including a brief introduction with an explanation of various sections of your poster. Within the ePoster editor you can select sections to highlight and zoom in as you speak that can be synced to the times in your video. Part 2. Virtual Poster Sessions. All poster presenters are expected to participate in their assigned poster session(s): Please note that if you are not registered for the conference, you will not be able to access your poster session. If you have not yet registered, please do so now: Asynchronous Q&A: The question/answer box is found at the bottom of the session page, underneath the listed roles. Attendees can ask a question, and the poster presenter will get an email letting them know that they have been asked a question. The presenter can then go to their poster online and answer the question. The person who asked that question will get a notification in-app letting them know their question has been answered. Both are public and everyone can see. It isn't a "thread" though, so multiple people cannot answer. Attendees will be able to ask a question at any time. |
